Los Feliz Improvement Association May General Meeting

Congressman Adam Schiff will be principal speaker at the upcoming May General Meeting of the Los Feliz Improvement Association. The meeting will be held Memorial Day evening, May 29th , at 7pm at Friendship Auditorium, 3201 Riverside Drive.

The unusual holiday meeting was set to accommodate the busy Congressman’s schedule which requires his presence in Washington the beginning of the week. Congressman Schiff will speak and then there will be a brief Q&A.

The program will begin at 7:00PM and reservations are required. There is free parking in the adjacent lot and across the street.

Participants will be able to review and implement business continuity planning and mitigation project plans through the simple, step-by-step planning tools in the QuakeSmart Program.

Special Reservoir Meeting on April 20

Meeting to discuss potential plans for Silver Lake Reservoir

The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council has scheduled a special meeting at 7 p.m. on April 20 to discuss the potential installation of public walking paths on the Southern dam of the Silver Lake Reservoir–and closer to the Ivanhoe Reservoir. According to the agenda, the meeting is being held to provide information only and listen to those who are interested in the walking paths of the Silver Lake Reservoir Complex.
