Vision Zero - Fletcher Drive

Vision Zero – Fletcher Drive

The City’s “Vision Zero” program, administered by the Department of Transportation, is spearheading efforts to bring some type of pedestrian/bicycle safety improvement to Atwater’s section of Fletcher Drive. Specifically between the La Clede Ave and the 5 Interstate Freeway. The planned improvement is believed to include a “road diet” of some type or vehicular traffic lane reduction.

They are holding a community meeting in Glassell Park (see flier below) to discuss planned improvements and hear from the community. There is no community input meeting planned in Atwater Village despite the direct impact it has on our community. So this may be the only meeting where Atwater Villager’s can provide input, thus we strongly urge you to attend.

What: Fletcher Drive – “Vision Zero” Meeting
When: Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 -6pm to 8pm
Where: Goodwill Community Enrichment Center, 3150 N. San Fernando Rd (Blair Pence Room)
